As part of the Microsoft Design For Surface Program, Trident Case®, designer and manufacturer of innovative education, business and lifestyle case solutions, today announced the expansion of its Cyclops and Aegis Series for the Microsoft Surface™ Pro 4.
“As a member of the Design for Surface program, Trident is dedicated to providing exceptional solutions for every Surface device,” Trident Director of Design, Sam Pyo, explained. “With the launch of Microsoft’s latest tablet, we’re offering new users options to best suit their lifestyle. The Cyclops case offers rugged protection for everyday wear-and-tear while the Aegis Signature Edition offers a sleek and premium leather finish option. Each Trident case for the new Surface Pro 4 provides users with the exact benefits they desire in a protective solution."
Trident’s new Cyclops case for the Surface Pro 4 is designed with convenience in mind, offering superior protection with minimal bulk. It protects the Surface while still maintaining a high degree of aesthetic style. Useful features include water-resistant mesh that protects speakers and vents from dust and moisture, and sealed device controls and ports for superior protection. Inside the case, a protective lining provides extra padding in case of accidents, accommodating up to 4’ drops.
The Cyclops case is fully compatible with the Surface Pro 4 kickstand, and comes equipped with a removable cover port, enabling seamless use of the Surface Type Cover keyboard. Including a handy built-in Microsoft Stylus holder and easy access to the Microsoft Surface Accessories port, the Cyclops is the go-to case for rugged, minimalistic protection, offering style without sacrificing security. What’s more, the Cyclops case is eco-friendly, constructed using bio-enhanced plastic that is degradable, compostable and recyclable.
The Aegis Series Signature Edition is designed with a chic, premium leather finish. To protect the Surface Pro 4 against drops and bumps, the interior is padded with a soft micro-fiber lining, keeping the device safe from everyday mishaps. Utilizing the Signature Edition’s pullout media stand, the device can be positioned for optimal viewing. Additionally, when the media stand is in use, a specialized nylon support strap keeps the device steady, so users can watch videos or show presentations with confidence, knowing their device will remain stable.
Each case can be easily fitted onto a Surface Pro 4 with the simple, snap-on installation process. Users still have complete access to all of ports and controls through openings in the side of the case. In addition, the cases are compatible with the Surface Type Cover keyboard, so users can compose documents and send emails without removing the case.
“People are increasingly seeking devices that span work and play, can be easily managed and configured, and have the right software to get the job done,” said Pyo. “We’re excited to participate in the Microsoft Designed For Surface Program for these reasons, and because it further demonstrates our commitment to serving the needs of customers relying on Microsoft devices and services.”
According to the Director of the Microsoft Surface Program, Cyril Belikoff, “The Designed For Surface Program was created to address the growing demand for Surface accessories to complete a wide range of use scenarios in business, at home and on-the-go. We look forward to working closely with our Designed For Surface Program participants to better serve their customers and create compelling solutions together.”
The Designed For Surface program allows accessory manufacturers to really embrace Surface as a 2-in-1 device and help people move seamlessly with their Surface between tablet and laptop experiences. Microsoft is working with leading manufacturers to develop accessories that make Surface more useful when touch is the interface of choice and even accessories that are thoughtful about incorporating the Surface Type Cover click-in keyboards and Surface Pen – elements that are unique to Surface open up a world of possibilities for helping people do more.
Trident’s Cyclops for Surface Pro 4 is offered at $79.99 MSRP and the Aegis Series Signature Edition for an MSRP of $49.99. For more information about the Trident’s Surface Pro 4 case, please firstname.lastname@example.org.
