ABI Document Support Services Announces New Executive Appointment and Promotions

After a year of record-breaking growth, ABI® Document Support Services, the industry leader in records retrieval and document management for the insurance and legal industries, today announced the promotion of several key employees. According to ABI President David Benge, this move will help meet the needs of its growing customer base.

“We expect 2018 to be another stellar year of growth for ABI and these appointments ensure our organizational structure will be aligned to support this continued growth,” Benge said.

Denise Luera has been promoted to Vice President of Operations. In this new role, Luera is responsible for day-to-day operations with a focus on strategic planning, goal setting, and working with ABI leadership to meet goals. She first joined the company in 2000, and has held progressively more senior positions during her tenure.

Parviz Rezvani, who joined ABI in 2009, and Brenda Gardner, who joined ABI in 2007, have been promoted to Senior Director of Operations, with Gardner specializing in Shared Services. Both Rezvani and Gardner report to Denise Luera and are responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of all client orders.

Additionally, Gardner leads the ABI Operational Support Teams which provide quality control, document classification and chronologies, billing, and financial customer service for all ABI regional offices. Both Rezvani and Gardner are excited to be part of the shift from paper-based processing and document storage to a completely electronic environment.

Joan Diehl has been promoted to the position of Northeast Director of Operations, where she is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring client retention and growth, increasing employee tenure, and developing employees into leaders by creating stimulating growth-oriented career paths. She joined ABI in 2012 to open the New York office, which has grown from three employees to 50. Diehl has more than 15 years of experience in increasing operational efficiencies and managing client relations.

Patty Shoemaker has been promoted to Midwest Director of Operations. Shoemaker has been with ABI for 10 years. With experience in several departments, and now billing, Shoemaker established metrics and training for quality control as well as supported roll outs of new services. She is ready to take on new challenges and looks forward to helping her team transition to a paperless system and continued new product introductions for ABI’s clients.

Rounding out the operational staff, Dawn Foens, a certified paralegal with more than 25 years of legal and insurance industry knowledge, will serve as ABI’s Compliance Manager. Foens now oversees all compliance-related matters.

“Our dedicated employees work every day to ensure prompt response times, provide the best customer service in the industry, and engage new procedures that streamline operations to benefit both ABI and our customers,” President David Benge emphasized. “As we look back on their success in recent years, we see a bright future for these star employees and expect great things from each and every one of them.”
