Hamer Reasserts its Heritage with Two New Guitars

Hamer, one of the most iconic guitar lines of all time, is proudly reasserting its heritage with the introduction of two new stunning guitars, the Hamer Sunburst Model SFTF-CS-D and Hamer Monaco “Special K” Model MONKI-NT-D, both of which are available for immediate delivery.

The new Hamer Sunburst (Model SFTF-CS-D) is based on the original flat top Sunburst models from late 1970’s that are widely recognized as Hamer’s signature body design. The new Sunburst features a flamed maple veneer over a solid mahogany body and a period authentic sunburst finish. The fast playing set neck is fitted with an ebony fretboard with jumbo frets, and the dual hot-rodded zebra Hamer humbuckers and fixed bridge deliver the amazing classic tone Hamer has long been known for! The new model is available for a MSRP of $874.00 (MAP $699.99).

The new Hamer Monaco “Special K” (Model MONKJ-NT-D) features a solid Korina single cut body and Korina neck with ebony fret board and jumbo frets. This cool and lightweight guitar is based on a very limited edition, and much sought after, custom shop model from 2005. The two soapbar P90 pickups and wrap-around Wilkinson bridge deliver a warm and versatile tone and all the sustain of much heavier Mahogany solid body guitars. The blending of the materials with Hamer’s brand essence make this model a must have for every Hamer enthusiast. The new model is available for a MSRP of $874.00 (MAP $699.99).

Before retiring from the stage in 2013, Hamer Guitars were seen, heard, and played around the world by acts that included Aerosmith, Bad Company, Blackfoot, Blues Brothers, Bon Jovi, Cheap Trick, The Cars, Def Leppard, Del Fuegos, Dire Straights, Eagles, Sammy Hagar, Hall & Oats, Billy Idol, Jethro Tull, Billy Joel, Kiss, Huey Lewis & the News, Gary Moore, Motley Crue, No Doubt, Neville Brothers, Night Ranger, Ted Nugent, Robert Palmer, The Police, The Pretenders, Judas Priest, Ratt, The Romantics, Savoy Brown, The Sex Pistols, Steve Stevens, Billy Squire, Third Eye Blind, Steve Vai, The Who, Wishbone Ash, and Warren Zane, among many others.
