NanoLumens Presented with the 2018 Georgia GLOBE Award by the Georgia Department of Economic Development

NanoLumens, the award-winning creators of uniquely compelling interactive LED visualization solutions, today announced that it has received a 2018 Georgia GLOBE Award for excellence in exporting and commitment to strengthening the state’s economy through continued expansion into new global markets. The company was honored at the Go Global Reception that was held on Tuesday, March 20th at the Atlanta History Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Organized by the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), the 5th annual Georgia Launching Opportunities by Exporting (GLOBE) Awards began in 2014 as a way to recognize local businesses contributing to Georgia’s economic growth through global trade. Since its inception, the GLOBE Awards have recognized more than 100 Georgia businesses from 32 counties across the state. To qualify for the award, Georgia-based companies must have entered into one or more new international markets within the previous   calendar year (January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2017).

The highly anticipated event showcases Georgia’s international economic development and efforts and gives attendees the opportunity to network with Georgia’s international representatives from Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Europe, Israel, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

In accepting the award, NanoLumens CEO Rick Cope stressed that, “The NanoLumens success story is a Georgia success story first and an American success story second. We are reviving American manufacturing with a focus on designing, assembling, servicing and supporting our displays out of our Atlanta-based facility by Americans, many of whom are military veterans. We succeed every day in our mission as a team of passionate professionals who believe in exceeding their customers’ highest expectations for solutions that are creative, robust and reliable in the most demanding installation environments.”
