Nortek Security & Control, the global leader in smart connected devices and systems for residential, security, access control and digital health markets, today announced the appointment of Alex Zaliauskas to the position of Director of Audio, reporting directly to Vice President of Product Management Mike Jordan. Zaliauskas is responsible for strategy and portfolio management for the Niles, SpeakerCraft, Proficient and Sunfire brands.
“Audio continues to be an essential element of the connected home experience, and Alex has the right combinations of skills to ensure that this sector continues to advance,” said Jordan. “His market and product knowledge, combined with his extensive management background, offer an immediate benefit to the audio team here at Nortek Security & Control.”
Alex Zaliauskas brings over 20 years of audio experience to Nortek Security & Control, most recently serving as the Director of Product Management at Audio Components International, Inc., where he lead product development for some of the world’s largest loudspeaker brands. Prior to that, he served as the Senior Category Product Manager at Snap AV, Senior Global Product Manager at Logitech, and Product/Brand Manager at Audio Products International.
