Stampede and Christie Digital Team Up to Serve as Gold Sponsors of Sandy Mitchell Racing for the 2017 British GT Season

Stampede and Christie Digital, two high performance sales teams, are joining forces to serve as Gold Sponsors of Sandy Mitchell Racing for the 2017 British GT Series that gets underway this month, according to Stampede CEO Mark Wilkins.

“Stampede and Christie Digital are already tremendous partners in a wide variety of commercial AV installations around the world, and now we are extending this winning relationship to the track in support of Sandy Mitchell Racing,” Wilkins said today.  “Hailed as the most exciting young driver in Scotland, the youngest ever Scottish single-seater race winner, and the youngest ever race winner in British GT history at the age of 16, Sandy Mitchell embodies the ‘can-do’ winning spirit and drive for success that powers Stampede and Christie Digital’s teams every day to exceed our European customers’ expectations.”

As Gold Sponsors of Sandy Mitchell Racing for the 2017 British GT Series season, Stampede and Christie will each receive prime logo branding on the Sandy Mitchell Racing website, helmet, race suit, and on the “Black Bull Garage 59 McLaren 570S GT4 race car.” The companies will also receive VIP tickets to the series’ seven races, which will be put to good use according to Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly.  “Racing at a high level of performance characterizes Sandy Mitchell and our Stampede sales team throughout the world. We’re going to emphasize this important link in cultures by bringing our resellers from around the world to events during the season. They’ll be able to witness first hand what it takes to win in another highly competitive, performance driven environment. It will be an experience that will help further motivate them in their local markets,” he said.

According to Sandy Mitchell, “I am honored and thrilled to add Stampede and Christie Digital to my team. Both companies are world-class drivers in their own right that deliver winning performances for their customers each and every day. Together, we are going to make a winning team an even better team during the upcoming British GT Series!”

The British GT Series is the UK’s leading race championship series. It visits all the major circuits with over 30 of the worlds fastest, most desirable and loudest GT cars, including cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Nissan, Bentley, and the crowd’s favorite, McLaren. Races are one, two or three hours long with two drivers in each car. Many of drivers and teams in the British GT championship also compete at a world championship level. The teams bring a level of professionalism rarely seen outside of Formula 1, with pit stops to refuel, tire changing, and driver changes at every round adding to the spectacle.

Sandy Mitchell, having just turned 17, has already achieved so much success in the world of motorsport. A multiple Scottish and British karting Champion and youngest ever Scottish single-seater race winner Sandy has been described as “arguably the most exciting young driver in Scotland.” His front running pace and results caught the attention of McLaren GT, and he grabbed the massive opportunity to race and develop the brand new McLaren 570S during the 2016 British GT Championship. He became the youngest driver ever to compete and win races in the history of British GT at only 16.
