Washburn Debuts New Parlor Guitar at Winter NAMM 2019

Extending the range and offerings of one of its most iconic guitar lines, Washburn today announced the market introduction of a new Parlor Guitar at Winter NAMM 2019 in Booth #6814, according to Washburn Vice President & General Manager Gil Soucy.

The new Washburn P33S Royal Sapphire Parlor Guitar exemplifies everything a guitar player dreams of. Its parlor-sized body is extremely comfortable to play — be it on the living room couch or at the beach, in the studio or on stage. The compact size allows the player complete control in drawing out its rich voice. The Solid Spruce top, with a rosette inlaid in a breath-taking abalone and wood motif, is paired with a special hand scalloped X-bracing pattern that projects a tonal palate of rich and full lows, warm and round mids and crisp, focused highs.

“The feel of its matte finished Okoume neck, crowned with a classic slotted headstock is nothing shy of perfect,” Soucy said today. “The select Sapele back and sides are covered in a rich, high-gloss midnight blue of intense depth, harmonizing with the matte finish of the neck. Collectively, these lush appointments ensure that Washburn’s all new P33S Royal Sapphire Parlor Guitar is destined to become an inspirational companion for life.”

“Constant innovation and line extension are two of the most important hallmarks of the Washburn brand,” Soucy stressed. “Our 2019 line-up offers players more options than ever before.”

The entire 2019 line-up of Washburn Guitars is being exhibited at Winter NAMM 2019 in Booth #6814 in the Anaheim Convention Center.
